‘He just smiled and said, “Then take this as an opportunity"…’: 27-year-old employee accidentally emails the entire department, mistake turns into a promotion

A young man at his first serious job in his career journey was simply trying to do good work and not ruffle any feathers. However, with one accidental "reply all," he changed that forever. You would think that an act of incompetence or even just this tiny little mistake would make the higher ups upset, perhaps even give you a professional reprimand. However, in the case of this young man, he was rewarded. His boss called him into his office and made him an offer he couldn't refuse. What was that offer? Opportunity! The boss laughed and simply told him that he should use this mistake as a time to grow. He was asked where he wanted to be in his career and they discussed on how to make that happen. Now, he is climbing the corporate ladder at a much faster pace than he had ever anticipated. He's not here to encourage making mistakes at work, but he is here to encourage anybody to make the best out of it. Not every mistakes is dire, some is just the universe giving you a proper thrust into the path you are supposed to be on. Gotta trust the universe, especially in the corporate world.
